The Early Challenges and Unconventional Beginnings
My educational journey has been far from ordinary. I attended a government school until the 10th grade, but unforeseen family circumstances forced me to pause my formal education.
This eventually led me to assist my father at his dosa stall, which later turned into a full-time commitment. It was in 2016 that my family relocated from Agra to Hyderabad. We knew this was for our own good and of course, it did open a new chapter in my life.
How YouTube Changed My Life?
While I was in Hyderabad, I enrolled in a basic computer course to learn essential software skills like Word, Excel, Photoshop, and telecommunications.
It was after some time that I stumbled upon a YouTube video titled,” "How to Create a Web Page" when I was exploring Photoshop tutorials. My interest in computers got fueled and that video opened the door to the world of web development for me.
In the year 2017, I resumed my education and completed my schooling. Later I even enrolled for B.Tech. Surprisingly, during this period, I secured a job as a Software Engineer even before 12th grade. To our family's satisfaction and blessings, It brought a significant amount home.
A New Start with YouTube Channel - Traidev!
I left the job in order to focus on my studies. However, I continued to take on the freelance path and supported myself financially. I worked on Web Development while I was studying, and managed both together.
In 2020, felt a strong urge to share my expertise which took me back to YouTube, leading to the launch of my YouTube channel, "Traidev." This channel was created to provide educational content. Today, it serves approximately 20,000 active learners. I feel fulfilled when I have a look at the journey of "Traidev". Even today it continues to empower young individuals to learn, grow, and navigate the world of technology.
2020 was also a year when the global pandemic hit but our college gave us a chance to do internships…
It helped me land another Job in Delhi as a software engineer, in the middle of my college degree.
I also got a job offer from a company in Odisha, which sounded great, but I had personal reasons to stick with freelancing. It paved a new path for me where I could work more flexibly, balancing my work and personal life.
Eventually, I connected with a startup. At first, I did freelance work for them, but it turned into a full-time job as a senior software engineer with a salary of 12 LPA.
Fortunately, The pandemic changed my career in unexpected ways, and my ability to adapt and make decisions has been crucial. Today, I’m satisfied to continue on this journey with determination and enthusiasm.
Family Support is a Major Role Player
I still remember how despite the financial struggles, my family managed to provide me with a much-needed 30k rupee laptop. This was more than enough to open doors for my technological journey. I dedicate a significant part of my journey's success to my parents who always blessed me with their unwavering support. This emotional support was equally vital, serving as a constant source of motivation.
Their sacrifices and support remind me that success is often a collective effort, and I'm grateful for the foundation they've given me as I strive for greater heights in my career and life.
I hold two cherished dreams close to my heart: opening a restaurant and starting a coaching center….
Yes, The restaurant dream comes back to my days helping my father at his dosa stall. It's more about creating a place where people gather for delicious meals and unforgettable moments.
Moreover, The coaching center stems from my passion for sharing knowledge. Through my journey in web development, from self-teaching via YouTube tutorials to launching my educational channel, "Traidev," I've realized the power of learning and teaching.
Throughout the Journey, I realize that achieving your goals requires consistent hard work and dedication. I'm excited to see where this journey leads, knowing that dreams are the compass guiding us through life's adventures, meant to be pursued with determination and passion.
