Yashoda's husband, who had only completed eighth grade, worked as a daily wage earner until a tragic accident crushed his leg, rendering him unable to work. This event made her realize the importance of education and the value of financial stability. Motivated to improve her situation, she began tutoring after completing her 12th-grade education in a Hindi medium school.
In November 2021, Yashoda purchased her first mobile phone and started creating videos. Initially, her attempts to teach English phrases did not gain much traction. However, she soon shifted her focus to talking videos and recognized the importance of learning over teaching. Yashoda began utilizing YouTube as a medium of education, providing valuable insights to her viewers.
The Viral Video and Invitation to Josh Talks
Yashoda's breakthrough came when her video discussing “How to Overcome the Fear of Speaking English” went viral. The video gained widespread attention, showcasing her expertise and relatability. As a result, she received an invitation from Josh Talks, a platform known for sharing inspiring stories, to speak about her experiences.
Yashoda's talk at Josh Talks became a resounding success. With her down-to-earth behavior, and empowering message, she captivated the audience. Her journey resonated with individuals from diverse backgrounds, encouraging them to pursue their dreams relentlessly and demonstrating that true success has no limitations.
With her tireless efforts, Yashoda has grown from having no members to having over 2 lacks. She earns between Rs 70,000 and 80,000 per month, which is more than a government employee in her village.
