Don't Stop When You Are Tired, Stop When You Are Done: The Story Of CA Akshat Garg

Hello there!

I am CA, Akshat Garg.

I qualified for the CA final exam recently in July 2021.

But let's start from the beginning.

So to start with my school life,

I did my schooling till the 5th standard from 14 GTC army public school, Subhathu, Himachal Pradesh.

After the 5th standard, I shifted to Solan where I did the rest of my schooling.

Although to be honest, I didn't have any goals in my school life.

However when I was in 10th class, the teachers would usually ask up questions like what are you going to do in the future, and I used to say that I wanted to go for Merchant Navy and opt for Non-medical examinations.

Although this particular aspiration was shot down when my family refused me to do so.

Hence, I decided to continue 11th grade with Commerce and Maths. (Since I was a bit weak at Biology)

After my 12th board examinations, I went to Chandigarh for CPT/Foundation coaching.

Later I pursued my articleship from ASA Associates LLP in Gurugram and Jain & Associates in Chandigarh.

It was after pursuing 2 years of articleship that I opted for industrial training from Hindustan Coca Cola beverages Pvt. Ltd.

That sums up most of my professional and academic life yet.

I guess though, that the most important and also the proudest moment of my life was when I cleared the CA final.

You see when I was born, I was given the name of Akshat Garg which I have used for 24 years of my life. But now at the age of 24, I can append those 2 precious letters before my name.

The tag CA is what I am the proudest of right now. I am proud of it because I earned it with my own hard work and dedication towards my studies and other activities.

But that's not the stop for me of course.

I still keep aspiring to be better.

Currently, I aim to get placed in some of the leading industries in India. It is a goal that I am currently putting all my efforts on.

Something that I would like to share with the young ones reading this is something that I read somewhere. 

It's something that I have lived my life with and it's that, “Don't stop when you are tired stop when you are done.”

I think if one really wants to succeed be it anywhere, one needs to put in great hard work.

And not just in studies, but also other activities that keep you engaged.

Coz being strong mentally and physically is a great catalyst to accomplishing your objectives and aims.
