There is a ceasefire deal!

Marking a major de-escalation in the ongoing conflict in West Asia, Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a ceasefire deal! Incumbent US President Joe Biden announced the good news which was made possible using French and American mediation. Lebanese citizens began returning to their homes as President Biden claimed that the ceasefire was designed to be permanent and that Hezbollah would not be allowed to threaten Israel again! What has Hezbollah said about it?

Hezbollah will be working with the Lebanese army!

The terror group has announced that it will be working with the Lebanese army! The group has announced that it will be working alongside the Lebanese Armed Forces to enforce the ceasefire with Israel as the group did not see any ‘problems or disagreement’ with the army. The two groups will coordinate to implement the agreement's commitments and increase Lebanon’s defensive capabilities!! However, that is not the only statement Hezbollah has made!

Hezbollah chief has declared ‘Divine Victory’!

After losing around 3,000 of its fighters, almost 80% of its rocket array, and top officials like Hassan Nasrallah, current Hezbollah bigwig Naim Qassem called the ceasefire deal between the two groups the terror group’s ‘divine victory’. In a deal which he claims the group agreed ‘with their heads held high’, Hezbollah will be withdrawing from areas south of the Litani river, 30 kms north of Israel’s border! However, there is trouble in the deal as soon as it was agreed.

Deal already broke apart!?

The deal, which was praised by the UN Chief, seems to be in trouble. The Israeli military announced that its warplanes fired on Southern Lebanon at a rocket storage facility that Hezbollah used. Israel claims that it opened fire at suspects with vehicles arriving at several areas in the contested southern zone and called it a breach of the deal. Hezbollah, on the other hand, claims that Israel attacked civilians as the Lebanese Army sided with Hezbollah and accused Israel of violating the deal!!

A Gaza truce is imminent?

After Hezbollah came to a deal in Lebanon, Hamas is also looking to negotiate a ceasefire! Reports suggest that the Palestinian terrorist group is now open to giving up control of a key strip of land in Gaza to secure a ceasefire deal. With increasing military pressure, Hamas appears to be more flexible in negotiations as there are even talks of allowing Israel to control the Philadelphi corridor! A group from the terror group went to Cairo for further negotiations as the world looks to securing another ceasefire deal soon!!

Deloitte has fired 180 people from its UK deals advisory division! Moreover, other Big 4 firms have also carried out similar layoffs across the UK and US. However, they are hiring in India!!

Latest media reports suggest that the Big 4 firms: Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PwC are on a hiring spree in India. Deloitte, in particular, has announced 10,000 new job openings in the country! In fact, these firms are going so far as to poach employees from each other!

Moreover, PwC has opened an immersive learning facility called ‘Vidyapeeth’ in Hyderabad! It is a 60,000 sq. ft. facility that will provide leadership and development programs to over 10,000 people this fiscal year alone!!

As the companies scale up their businesses and presence in India, their partners are also being poached. Deloitte alone is bringing in 50 new partners in the upcoming months with almost 25 being from KPMG!!!
