Hello Readers,

Did you hear?

Bihar elections have ended!

The 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, which were held in two phases, centred on jobs, migration, welfare, and shifting caste blocs, have finally come to an end. A major flashpoint was the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls, criticised by Tejashwi Yadav and the opposition as politically motivated. The SIR removed about 68 lakh names, prompting allegations of disenfranchisement, while the Election Commission defended it as a cleanup of duplicates. The election was mainly a battle between the BJP-led NDA with JDU, and the “Mahagathbandan”, including the Congress and RJD. Who won?

BJP-led NDA secured a landslide victory!

The BJP-led NDA scored a decisive victory in the 2025 Bihar elections, winning 202 of 243 seats. The BJP secured 89 seats and JD(U) won 85, solidifying the alliance’s dominance. This was the first time the BJP emerged as the single biggest winner in Bihar. The RJD fell to 25 seats while the Congress managed only 6, highlighting a sharp opposition collapse. The mandate delivered the NDA a strong two-thirds majority, overturning key RJD bastions and expanding its reach across urban, semi-urban, and rural constituencies statewide. What else?

Congress claims elections were unfair from the start!!

Rahul Gandhi called the recent Bihar election result “truly surprising” and claimed it was “not fair from the very beginning.” He thanked voters who supported the opposition bloc and stressed that the fight now is about safeguarding the Constitution and democracy. Meanwhile, Ajay Maken — serving as a senior figure in Indian National Congress — echoed concerns over large-scale deletions from electoral rolls, warning that such moves undermine democratic participation and amount to a modern form of “vote theft.” while simultaneously questioning the 90% strike rate which no one ever saw! What else?

Congress may split soon: Modi!

After the NDA’s sweeping Bihar win, PM Modi launched a blistering critique of the Congress. He labelled it “MMC” — the Muslim League Maoist Congress — arguing its agenda now centers on negative, divisive politics. Modi warned that a growing faction within the party is uncomfortable with this direction, predicting a major internal split soon. He also accused Congress of being a “liability,” drowning both its allies and its own reputation, as the Congress had its worst performance in Bihar this year. What else?

BJP will uproot “jungle raj” in Bengal: Modi!!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, fresh from the BJP’s landslide win in Bihar, vowed to "uproot the jungle raj" in West Bengal ahead of its 2026 assembly elections. He framed Bihar’s verdict as a mandate for development over lawlessness, declaring that the same wave will now carry into Bengal. Modi insisted that together with Bengal’s people, the BJP will end what he calls the TMC-led government’s chaotic rule. With an SIR going on in Bengal, will the BJP be able to root out the illegal immigrants, who serve as the base of the TMC’s support, from Bengal before the 2026 elections?

Interestingly, did you know Data plays a big role in these elections?
