Hello Readers,

Did you hear?

Trump wants Japan to play nice with China!

Donald Trump has reportedly urged Sanae Takaichi, Japan’s prime minister, not to escalate tensions with China — after Takaichi’s remarks suggesting Japan might respond militarily if China attacked Taiwan. Trump told her to “dial down the volume” on the dispute, apparently aiming to preserve a fragile trade-conflict truce between the U.S. and China. The call came shortly after a conversation between Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, underscoring Washington’s attempt to balance support for Japan with caution toward Beijing. What else?

Trump has excluded South Africa from G20 Summit!

Donald J. Trump announced on November 26, 2025, that South Africa will not be invited to the 2026 G20 Summit in Miami, citing Pretoria’s refusal to hand over the G20 presidency to a U.S. Embassy representative after the Johannesburg summit. He also accused South Africa of persecuting its white minority — claims widely rejected — and said the U.S. will stop all payments and subsidies to the country. The move has sparked sharp criticism from South African leaders who branded it punitive and based on misinformation. What else?

All Afghan immigration requests to be denied?

The U.S. has indefinitely halted all immigration processing for Afghan nationals after a Washington, D.C. shooting involving an Afghan suspect. Officials say the pause is needed to reassess vetting, leaving all pending and new applications in limbo. Donald Trump called the attack a “heinous assault” and “an act of terror,” criticizing prior vetting policies and vowing to re-examine all Afghans admitted under the previous administration. He pledged to expel anyone who “does not belong here.” What else?

Trump ally Witkoff coached the Russians!?

Steve Witkoff, a Trump envoy, reportedly coached a senior Russian official on how to pitch a Ukraine peace plan to Donald Trump, advising Moscow to flatter him, praise his Gaza cease-fire role, and frame concessions as goodwill. Trump defended Witkoff’s involvement as normal negotiation and signaled continued support for him. The leaked call and upcoming Moscow talks have triggered bipartisan criticism in Washington, with lawmakers warning the process appears tilted toward Russian interests. What else?

35 US states are warning about AI!

A bipartisan coalition of attorneys general from 35 US states (plus Washington, D.C.) has urged Congress not to block states from enacting their own AI laws — warning that unregulated AI could bring “disastrous consequences.” They argue that state-level regulation is critical to address harms like scams, deepfakes, discriminatory AI decisions, and unsafe chatbots — especially since federal AI legislation remains stalled. However, despite the concerns regarding AI, the AI boom is still going strong.

By the way, did you hear? Generative AI will be a major requirement in all future roles!?

Since the launch of ChatGPT in late 2022, the world has been incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) in almost every aspect. Today, AI is helping with legal work, medical prescriptions, lunch recommendations, and so much more. Every new smartphone model is being incorporated with an AI model that makes life much easier for us.

Generative AI is making work more efficient in the workforce while improving accuracy. But how?

  • Automating Repetitive Tasks – AI can handle routine tasks like data entry, report generation, and email responses, freeing employees for strategic work.
  • Boosting Customer Support – AI chatbots and virtual assistants provide instant responses to customer queries, improving efficiency and satisfaction.
  • Enhancing Personalization – AI can tailor recommendations, emails, and marketing campaigns based on user behavior, leading to more effective engagement.
  • Optimizing Workflows – AI can identify inefficiencies in business processes and suggest improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Facilitating Collaboration – AI tools like real-time translation and transcription improve communication across global teams.
  • Reducing Human Error – AI-driven automation ensures accuracy in financial calculations, compliance checks, and data processing tasks.

Considering its importance and benefits, companies are heavily investing in it or planning to! According to a study by McKinsey, most C-suite respondents already have roadmaps to guide their Gen AI strategies and have begun identifying use cases. However, only 1% of respondents believe their AI investments have reached maturity while 92% plan to invest more in the next 3 years!

This indicates that the market is all set to grow more in the next 5 years!!

Moreover, Indian companies are also taking this trend seriously. HCL Tech has announced its plan to train 20,000 employees in Generative AI every quarter! With the application of AI expanding rapidly, Generative AI is becoming one of the most important fields that every employee needs to upskill in!!
