Hello Readers,

Did you hear?
CAA has finally been implemented!

The controversial 2019 amendment has been implemented by the Narendra Modi-led government, paving the way for Indian citizenship for all non-Muslims suffering from religious persecution in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Pakistan! Almost every political party has spoken out against it and TMC is the loudest. Mamata Banerjee has called it a discriminatory and political tool that will ‘mark people as refugees’!! Speaking of Mamata Banerjee, did you hear?
Mamata Banerjee has been seriously injured!

According to a statement by the TMC, Mamata Banerjee suffered a major injury after she fell at home. She has received multiple stitches and politicians have wished her a speedy recovery, but is this really an injury? The politician was reportedly attacked and confined to a wheelchair before the 2021 WB elections. The timing of the injury is fairly suspicious as this could be the TMC’s aim to gain sympathy! But why?
TMC is in trouble over Sandeshkhali!

It recently challenged a High Court order but was shot down by the SC. The ED recently raided 3 locations in a case against Sheikh Shahjahan, accusing him of land grab, extortion, and sexual harassment! The party has faced massive backlash from political parties over the entire Sandeshkhali incident as it recently announced its full list of candidates, dropping out several big names and essentially mooting its alliance with Congress. Speaking of Congress, did you know?
Congress is attacking BJP! Again!

Congress has attacked the BJP once again. It has slammed the timing of CAA’s implementation, calling it an attempt to polarise the elections! Moreover, Congress also claims that the recent Electoral Bonds data has exposed the BJP’s ‘corrupt practices’ such as Quid Pro Quo and Hafta Vasooli! Although such rivalry is common in politics and these parties always slam each other, why is Congress moving so actively?
Because Congress’s politicians are joining BJP!

BJP is out poaching candidates and Congress appears to be the biggest supplier as several politicians from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand have abandoned the sinking ship of Congress to join hands with the BJP as the latter looks strong for a third term. With the BJP aiming for 400 seats in Parliament, a third term seems imminent! There has been great development in the country in the last 10 years under Narendra Modi and the future seems brighter!
Indian economy is set to soar higher!

According to Fitch Ratings, India’s economy is expected to show strong expansion! The credit ratings giant recently revised its Indian GDP forecasts as it now expects India’s economy to grow 7.8% in FY24 and 7% in FY25, both estimates showing substantial upward revisions from prior estimates! Strong domestic demand along with robust business and consumer confidence is set to drive growth.
Moreover, a recent study by McKinsey and CII suggests that Indian Unicorns (startups valued at $1 billion) could add up to $1 trillion and generate 50 million new jobs by 2030 for India’s economy!
With 100 Unicorns and a 20x times surge in startups, India is evolving as a startup hub. More and more people want to work in startups as startups are now seen as the next big thing! Tech has been the biggest driver as technological innovation in traditional fields has yielded the most Unicorns in India!
