Hello Readers.

Have you heard?
CM Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested!

After failing to comply with 9 summons orders and questioning, the Enforcement Directorate has arrested AAP chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in connection with an excise policy case. In a scam worth Rs 600 crores, the ED named CM Arvind Kejriwal as the Kingpin of the entire case which saw AAP receive kickbacks worth almost Rs 100 crores in exchange for giving favours to private liquor players! But others are not happy.
India’s opposition parties have slammed the BJP!

NCP chief Sharad Pawar called the move a ‘vindictive misuse of central agencies’ while Samajwadi party chief Akhilesh Yadav claimed that the BJP was trying to remove opposition leaders from the public before the elections! Tamil Nadu CM Stalin called it a decay of democracy while Congress member Rahul Gandhi has promised that the INDIA Alliance will give a befitting reply to this! But speaking of Congress, did you hear?
Congress has no money to fight the elections?

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has announced that the Congress party was facing an unprecedented cash crunch, alleging that the BJP had frozen its bank accounts containing donations from people! Bigshots from the party have labelled the move as an attempt by BJP to cripple the party. At the same time, the BJP has rejected these allegations, claiming it was because Congress failed to file returns for cash donations received in 2017-18. But where was PM Modi amid all this?
PM Modi is in Bhutan, getting an award!

PM Modi made a 2-day visit to the neighbouring country of Bhutan, where he received the ‘Order of the Druk Gyalpo’, the country’s highest civilian award, being the first foreign national to receive the award. He inaugurated a hospital India funded alongside his Bhutanese counterpart while also discussing the 13th FYP with Bhutan’s government, announcing a support of Rs 10,000 crores for the next 5 years to its Himalayan neighbour. Speaking of neighbours, have you heard what the Maldives did?
Prez Muizzu is asking India for debt relief!!

After shamelessly asking India to withdraw its troops and bringing in Chinese troops, Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu has now turned his tone down. He called India its ‘closest ally’ as he sought debt relief for its loan of over $400 million! He stressed the enduring ties the two nations shared as he claimed that they were holding discussions for debt leniency. After all his anti-India actions, President Muizzu is doing a poor job marketing the Maldives as India’s ally.
Speaking of marketing, did you know?
Marketing is one of the most sought-after profiles by students today, especially MBAs! But why?
- Marketing actively blends creativity with discipline as it is one of the most dynamic domains today.
- With the growing reliance on online marketing, the demand for marketing professionals is spiking as the pay for such professionals is pretty lucrative these days.
- Since every company, irrespective of industry, needs advertising to reach its customers, marketing professionals have a broad range of job opportunities.
- A common misconception is that marketing is entirely creative. A study in marketing involves a deep understanding of finance, strategy, operations, and management as well!
Seems pretty cool, right?
It is. According to some reports, ad spending is reportedly going to grow over 7% in 2024 to over $1 trillion! In India alone, ad spending is expected to grow 10.2% in 2024 to over Rs 1.55 lakh crore. Why?
With the growing incorporation of technology in every sector and the increased coverage of internet and smartphone usage in India, companies are also revamping their marketing game by increasing spending on Digital Marketing and switching to practices like Performance Marketing. But what is Performance Marketing?
In the simplest terms, Performance Marketing is the method of marketing oneself with specific goals but without the mandatory payment. Brands may not need to pay if there are no visible results! This practice is quickly gaining traction as the benefits of the practice outweigh its shortcomings and companies are pivoting quickly to this results-based practice.

Market research suggests the global market for Digital Marketing is projected to have a CAGR of 13.1% to reach a value of almost $1.1 trillion by 2032! Are you ready to jump into this trillion-dollar market and ride the wave to success?
