Trump wants metals in exchange for aid to Ukraine!

President Donald Trump has called on Ukraine to secure US aid using the latter’s rare earth metal resources! According to reports, Ukraine has rare metals worth “trillions of dollars” and Trump wants to negotiate an agreement with Kyiv where it secures the aid using such metals. However, Trump’s plan has been met with criticism. German chancellor Olaf Scholz has criticized his plan as “self-centered”, claiming Ukraine would need those to finance its reconstruction efforts! Trump forced Panama to exit China’s BRI!?

After Trump came to power, one of his administration’s first claims was that China was influencing the operations of the Panama Canal. He warned Panama of serious consequences if it did not check China’s growing influence. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio visited Panama to discuss the same after which Panama announced its withdrawal from the infrastructure plan! China has slammed the US’ “smearing and sabotage” while accusing it of ‘coercing’ Panama into exiting! China claims the US harmed its national interests! Delhi elections have come to an end!

Elections for the capital of India began earlier last week and ended on 8th February as AAP, which expected to win a third term, faced a crushing defeat against the national ruling party of BJP. Unlike AAP’s plans, it won only 22 seats, BJP won 48 seats while Congress couldn’t nab a single seat! This marked AAP’s departure from the capital after 10 years and the re-entry of the BJP into power after a record 27 years! What was the reaction?

Kejriwal has accepted defeat!

While incumbent CM Atishi Marlena managed to win her seat, AAP bigwigs like Manish Sisodia and Chief Arvind Kejriwal faced defeat in their own seats, making it a humiliating result for them. The chief has accepted defeat “with humility”, congratulated the BJP on its victory, and promised to play the “role of a constructive opposition”. Congress chief Rahul Gandhi thanked the Congress workers and humbly accepted his defeat as the BJP’s victory in Delhi has made matters worse for the entire I.N.D.I.A. Opposition! What about PM Modi?

Modi claims development and good governance won!!

The entire saffron party was overjoyed at their historic return to power in Delhi. PM Narendra Modi claimed that “development and good governance” won and guaranteed that they would “leave no stone unturned to ensure all-round development of Delhi”. He also promised to table the CAG report on Delhi in the First Assembly after it was done forming the government. With this, the BJP will be making a historic comeback after almost 3 decades and take the top spot of Delhi!!
