Hello Readers,

Did you hear?

India has begun an Operation Sindoor diplomatic outreach!

In response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, India launched Operation Sindoor, dispatching seven multi-party delegations to 33 countries, including Russia, UAE, and Japan. These delegations, comprising MPs from various parties, aim to expose Pakistan's alleged support for terrorism and reinforce India's zero-tolerance policy. In Moscow, DMK MP Kanimozhi led discussions with Russian officials and think tanks. In the UAE and Japan, delegations engaged with leaders to garner support against cross-border terrorism, highlighting India's unified stance and diplomatic outreach. What about Pakistan?

Pakistan rewards failures!

General Asim Munir has been promoted to the rank of Field Marshal, becoming only the second individual in Pakistan’s history to receive this title after Ayub Khan in 1959. His elevation reflects his significant influence within the military and recognition of his leadership, particularly following recent national security challenges. The move has been seen as a symbol of growing military stature in Pakistan’s power structure, sparking discussions about the implications for civil-military balance in the country’s governance. But not everyone supports it!

Imran Khan claims ‘law of jungle’ in Pakistan!

From prison, former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan criticized Army Chief Gen Asim Munir's promotion to Field Marshal, suggesting he should have declared himself "King" due to the military's dominance over Pakistan's political and judicial systems. Khan condemned the erosion of democratic norms, citing biased justice favoring the powerful. He denied rumors of political deals, asserting his commitment to national unity amid crises. Khan also highlighted personal grievances, including restricted communication and legal injustices during his incarceration. What about others?

IMF has justified supporting Pakistan!

On May 23, 2025, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved a $1 billion bailout to Pakistan, asserting that the country met all required conditions under the Extended Fund Facility. India protested, expressing concerns that the funds could be misused to support cross-border terrorism, citing Pakistan's history of such activities. Despite India's objections and abstention from the vote, the IMF proceeded, emphasizing Pakistan's compliance with reform benchmarks. This decision underscores the ongoing geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan and raises questions about the oversight of international financial aid. But Support to Pakistan is never good!

Turkiye and Azerbaijan suffer from support to Pakistan!

Turkey’s support for Pakistan amid India-Pakistan tensions has led many Indians to avoid Turkey and Azerbaijan for weddings and corporate events, shifting to alternatives like the UAE and Bahrain. This shift has hurt Turkey’s event industry. Turkish ground handling firm Celebi suffered as India revoked its security clearance, citing national security concerns, impacting operations at major airports. Celebi has legally challenged the move, warning of job losses and investor confidence. This shows how poorly marketing itself can cause suffering for a country.
