Hello Readers,

Did you know?

PM Modi visited Kashmir!

With elections right around the corner, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently touring the country as he visited Jammu & Kashmir for the first time since the abrogation of Section 370 in 2019. He addressed a massive rally in Srinagar while inaugurating 53 development projects in the field of agriculture and tourism worth Rs 6,400 crores!! But wait, there’s more.

PM Modi also inaugurated India’s first underwater Metro!

PM Modi also visited West Bengal where he inaugurated India’s first underwater metro undertaking which will have the deepest metro station in India- 30 metres below ground! Moreover, he inaugurated projects worth Rs 15,400 crores in Kolkata, aimed at improving connectivity in the city! However, that’s not the end of it.

He has inaugurated projects worth Rs 18,000 crores in Assam!

PM Modi received a warm welcome in Assam after which he undertook a safari in the UNESCO heritage site of Kaziranga National Park. However, the highlight of his visit was the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for projects worth Rs 18,000 crores in the state! These projects are centered around infrastructure development, child cancer, refinery capacity expansions in refineries, and several others. However, that wasn’t the end.

PM Modi also inaugurated the world's longest bi-lane tunnel!

The Sela Tunnel project, the foundation for which was laid down in 2019, is the world’s longest twin-lane tunnel built at an altitude of 13,000 feet! Arunachal Pradesh lacked motorable roads which hampered connectivity in the region, especially from a defence perspective considering its location near the LAC. This all-weather connectivity project, costing Rs 825 crores, will reduce traveling time by more than one hour! This is a major move that will bolster India’s defenses against China’s ongoing aggressions and violations of territorial integrity. Speaking of China, did you hear?

China is ramping up its assaults in the South China Sea!!

China has been illegally encroaching on the Phillippines’ share of the South China Sea as it has historically attacked fishing boats from the latter country. However, coast guard ships from both countries collided recently as the Phillippines has accused China of carrying out ‘dangerous maneuvers’ in the Sea. However, China has counter-accused the Phillippines of being the US’ pawn and illegally intruding China’s share of the sea! Moreover, China has also declared that it will defend its rights and asked its military to deepen war and combat planning!! Speaking of bad neighbours, did you hear?

Maldives has signed a military agreement with China!

Amid the ongoing diplomatic tussle with India, Maldivian President Mohamed Muizzu has cemented his pro-China stance as his government has signed a military agreement whereby China will provide free military assistance! India’s civilian technicians will not be allowed to stay as China would be gaining a significant foothold in the country. India will be setting up a new naval base in Minicoy islands to protect Indian maritime interests and counter China’s growing influence.

Speaking of China, have you heard? China is intensifying its focus on quantum computing, AI, and Big Data!

This move is to use its vast national resources effectively, achieve technological superiority, and boost innovation across all key sectors in the country! Quantum Computing and AI are understandable, but why Big Data?

Won’t AI process all the data and scrap the field of Data Analytics?

No! Artificial Intelligence will certainly be an important tool in the future, but it won’t be able to challenge human decision-making and intellect. AI will be indispensable for large data formatting, cluster analysis, pattern recognition, and other parts that are duties of a human data analyst.

However, with the advent of AI, these tasks will be taken away, but these will be replaced with more important tasks that require a human touch. Thus, AI will continue to develop as a tool which would enhance the productivity of human data analysts. As such, Data Analytics continues to be one of the most lucrative job roles today as the market is expected to have a CAGR of almost 28% while reaching a market size of $303.4 billion!
